Regular walking can help strengthen your legs, reduce stress, benefit your heart and improve overall sense of well-being. This beginners walking group is for every age (minors must be accompanied by qualified guardian). There is a five-minute warm-up and 30-minute walk. You'll have an opportunity to learn the equipment, practice using the application "First Steps" and then join one of introductory level explorations: snorkeling virtually in an underwater safari park in Ocean Rift, exploring the natural world and encountering 20 different animals in Nature Treks or learning Tai Chi in an environment of your choosing, including an igloo or tropical island!

Put on one of our virtual reality headsets and participate in brain-training exercises that are immersive and fun. We use the application "Alcove." You'll enter virtually a home, select a cube in the living room and have your choice of three brain training exercises. Within the hour, you may have time for all three!

Four Ventura County residents will share their health and caregiver journey stories 6 p.m. April 20 at the Camarillo Library as part of a free event co-organized by the Camarillo Health Care District and library.
We are looking for you, friends, neighbors and notables to share health or caregiver journeys, to talk about personal experiences, moments in time and lessons learned while navigating life. These “life stories” will paint a visual picture with words, be about 5 to 10 minutes long and must be primarily about you (the storyteller), and your truths, experiences and emotions. These stories will be shared on our podcast, "Stories from the Heart."
