COVID-19 Message (updated 1/14/2021)

Although some on-site services at the Camarillo Health Care District facility remain temporarily suspended in response to COVID-19 executive orders, essential infrastructure services remain available via distance-assistance, one-on-one service, outdoor service, or virtual services, and we are ready to support you during these challenging times.

In addition to illness and death, the global health pandemic known as COVID-19, continues to increase the likelihood of widespread social isolation, depression, and anxiety around a myriad of issues including food anxiety, having enough supplies, being homebound with no one to assist, needing health care but not having a method to connect to virtual health, being a family caregiver to someone who is homebound...the list is long.

The Camarillo Health Care District recognizes the need for emotional and mental health support during these challenging times and has services to assist you.  Please learn more about some of these services by clicking on their names: Senior Support Line, Senior Nutrition Program, Caregiver Center Programs, Care Consultation Programs, Dementia Counseling & Education, Transportation Services, Digital Bridge/Zoom Room Services, and many referrals and resources.

Essential services such as Home Delivered Meals, pick-up option for Congregate meals once a month, Caregiver Resources, Care Management, REACH consultations for caregivers of Alzheimer's patients, Senior Support Line, support consultation, and two NEW virutal services programs called the Digital Bridge Program and the Zoom Room Program, as well as many other services, can be conducted via telephone, or through Zoom or other virtual options.

We would encourage you to click on the Digital Bridge and Zoom Room Programs in the previous paragraph, and see if there is some way we can assist you and your family in connecting.  If you don't have all the computer devices, or wifi connections needed, or a full understanding of all the virutal terms, no worries!  The Digital Bridge can help your learn...or the Zoom Room can provide a space already equipped...so that you can get and stay connected!  Please email Health Promotion Coach Luis Morales III, for more information or to schedule time on the 'Bridge or in the Zoom Room!
