Zone 5: Neal Dixon, MD, has served the Camarillo community for 35 years, both as a physician and as an active community servant. A native Californian, Dr. Dixon completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California and completed his surgical residency at LAC-USC Medical Center. He has served on numerous hospital committees, including as Chair of the Department of Surgery, and has more than a decade of public service in local AYSO Soccer and Camarillo Pony Baseball. Dr. Dixon has also served as elected Director on the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District Board, and has received numerous awards for his dedication and skilled service including Dignity Health Physician of the Year, Dignity Health Healing Touch Award for Extraordinary Physicians, St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital Doctor of the Year, and Ventura County Medical Center Outstanding Attending Physician, to name a few.
