Doctor talk: Living with MS

Dr. Andrew Voyiadjis, a board certified neurologist who specializes in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, will speak 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 at Camarillo Health Care District, 3639 Las Posas Road, in Camarillo. His presentation, "Living with Multiple Sclerosis" will address what living with multiple sclerosis means as one navigates a fluctuating disease course that can impact various aspects of life. His message will be that it is  manageable with the right approach.  

Dr. Voyiadjis completed his medical school training and neurology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans before moving to California to complete a two-year fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at USC. 

Dr. Voyiadjis has extensive experience managing multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica (NMO), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), autoimmune encephalitis, neurosarcoidosis, and transverse myelitis. He also treats and manages general neurological disorders such as headaches, stroke, dementia, neuromuscular diseases (e.g., myasthenia gravis), and neuropathies.
