Vaccination efforts continue in Ventura County, and CA Governor Newsom released a statement yesterday that people age 65 and older will be prioritized to receive the vaccine. Your health and safety remains foremost in our mind, and Camarillo Health Care District continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 public health crisis. Although some regular programs and services have been termporarily suspended, as an essential agency, many services remain available, including Transportation, Senior Nutrition, Senior Support Line, Care Management/Chronic Illness, Disease Prevention, Health Promotion, virutal classes and support, Caregiver Education and Support, and services for families dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
The District has also developed some new programs to help serve during this crisis including Digital Bridge, Zoom Room, Bingocize, and the Pen Pal Program. Please call for more information or read about it here in the latest issue of the Healthy Attitudes magazine.
