Director

Zone 3: Lydia Dixon, PhD is a tenured professor in Health Science at California State University, Channel Islands.  Her doctoral level training as a medical anthropologist, combined with years of research experience in community health, women’s health and global health offers a unique understanding of complex healthcare and health equity issues. Dr. Dixon received her Master and Doctoral degrees in Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine, and has taught at CSUCI since 2018.  She looks forward to continuing to serve the community with the Camarillo Health Care District.
