Service Contracts

The Camarillo Health Care District Board of Directors is committed to enhancing the quality of life for area residents through partnerships and collaborations that bring services to the community that might not otherwise be available. These partnerships are called Service Contracts and represent agreements with various health services entities to provide health and wellness opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable for at-risk populations within District boundaries. During the fiscal year of 2007-08, the following programs and services were made available to the greater Camarillo area through Service Contracts:

ARC Ventura County: to provide fall prevention education for Camarillo residents with developmental disabilities
Christians Acting Together (CATs): to provide grocery, rent and utility vouchers for Camarillo families with children
Coalition to End Family Violence: to provide the Family Harmony Program, a crisis response, counseling and referral program for families coping with violence and abuse
FOOD Share: to provide the Brown Bag Lunch program for needy Camarillo area senior citizens
The Hardy Foundation: to provide a Visograph machine for vision testing, early detection and corrective activities to improve vision in children
Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association: to provide in-home respite for Camarillo area residents
Medi-Tech Health Services, Inc.: To provide the "Steppin' Out Safely" (SOS) program to help prevent falls in the home
Long Term Care Services of Ventura County: to provide pre-admission counseling for families considering the placement of loved ones into residential care facilities or nursing home type living arrangements
