Senior Lunch Programs
Eating a balanced and healthy diet is important at any age, but especially for senior citizens. The Camarillo Health Care District provides residents age 60 and over with two meal program options available every week.
Apple-a-Day Cafe Meal Site
The Apple-a-Day Café provides freshly prepared, hot meals in a dynamic social setting designed for residents age 60 and over. This program promotes socialization and stimulation that includes educational, informational and fun presentations and activities. The close proximity to the Camarillo Senior Center also invites diners to participate in other planned activities such as bingo and card games before or after lunch. A reservation is required so that we know how much to prepare, so grab a friend and come have lunch with us! A spouse or caregiver may accompany the eligible participant for lunch.
