I am pleased to announce that the Camarillo Health Care District has been awarded the Executive Team Award 2010 from the Association of California Healthcare Districts (ACHD)! The following excerpt is from Ralph Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer of ACHD and describes the award and its purpose:

The Association of California Healthcare Districts, Inc. (ACHD) is the industry association serving the legislative advocacy, public responsibility, legal compliance and business consulting needs of the Health Care Districts of California. The professional work of ACHD requires an in-depth understanding of the political, business and legal environments affecting Health Care Districts. In advancing the missions of Health Care Districts, ACHD seeks to foster and promote the innovative leadership and entrepreneurial attitudes that characterize every successful District. At the Award Luncheon at its Annual Meeting, ACHD formally recognizes those Districts that exemplify the executive leadership, innovation and governance excellence to which all Districts aspire.
