A questionnaire from the Task Force on Quality Aging in Ventura County; Eileen Gold, MA, Chairperson

In 2008, the Camarillo Health Care District conducted an exhaustive needs assessment to drive the development of its strategic plan. One of the findings of this process was the fact that isolation and loneliness constitute a significant problem in aging populations. To address this issue a Task Force on Quality Aging in Ventura County was formed, and is actively seeking public input as it goes about its job of making recommendations to community leadership.

Please tell us:
What models of service are working well in Ventura County?

What ones can be adapted to the needs of the next generation of seniors?

What can we do right now to improve the quality of life for seniors in existing models of service?

Give us one big idea that will add quality of life for seniors in the year 2030?
