This four-hour class on basic CPR will include CPR for infants and children. Participants satisfactorily completing the course will receive a two-year American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR card. Note: This class does not meet the Health Care Provider requirements; however, it does meet the Day Care and Home Care Provider requirements. This class is designed for individuals 16 years of age and older. Class size is limited. (Includes book)

Basic Life Support (BLS)
for Healthcare Provider CPR
Second Saturday of each month • 9am-2pm

This course is designed to prepare healthcare professionals in recognizing life-threatening emergencies, and to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in the responsive and unresponsive victim of any age. This class will also include performing one and two person CPR for adult, child and infant victims, and will demonstrate the use of protective barrier devices to give breaths to a victim both mask-to-mouth, and valve bag-to-mask. This class meets the Health Care Provider requirements. (Includes book)

First Aid
Fourth Saturday of each month - every other month (July, Sept. Nov.)

This four-hour class on Basic First Aid, will emphasize bleeding control, caring for a shock patient, dealing with burns, learning to apply splints, and caring for someone who suddenly becomes ill. This class includes a booklet and handouts. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, participants will receive an American Red Cross First Aid card. (Note: This course does not meet the California Child Care Provider Requirements.)
